This Week’s Top Projects
#1: ARTiER
ARTiER is a social network for art lovers. Users can promote their creative work on a custom profile and view the works of other artists. This project was built by Adam Pagels.
#2: ROOMB
ROOMB lets anyone connect with an expert that can guide them to living a more sustainable life. The aim of this project is to motivate people to focus on their mental health and live with the environment in mind.
This project was built by Tina Lurkova, a student at CareerFoundry.
#3: Next Stop
Next Stop is a user experience and interface design for a public transit application. Users can view public transit options, plan out trips, and order tickets. Next Stop was built by Nadia Rey Randle, a student at Thinkful.
#4: Ciao
Ciao is a real-time chat application. This project uses React, Apollo, and GraphQL to provide messaging functionality. Ciao was built by Adam Payne, a student at Lambda School.
#5: Covid-19 Cases in South Africa
Covid-19 Cases in South Africa is an analysis of the spread of Covid-19 over the first 30 days of the disease’s outbreak. This project was built by Vivek Harase, a student at HyperionDev.
#6: Porto Seguro’s Claim Prediction
Porto Seguro’s Claim Prediction aims to predict claimants based on data from a company called Porto Seguro. This project involved analysing and cleaning data and running machine learning algorithms on the final data set.
Porto Seguro’s Claim Prediction was coded by Daniel Vega, a student at Neoland.
#7: Pandafeed
Pandafeed lets companies analyze user data to figure out what features users enjoy most and how the company can improve their platform. This project was built by Gladys Alvarez.
#8: Heem
Heem makes it easy to design a room in your house. Heem scans the catalogues of various furniture stores and lets you view how that furniture would look in your own home. Heem was built by Ann Ho, a student at Designlab.
#9: Clarity Spanish
Clarity Spanish is a blogging application built using the MERN stack. Visitors can browse and read blog posts. Administrators can create, update, and delete posts. This project was built by Jordan Stokes as the final project for his Treehouse Techdegree.
#10: Slash
Slash is an application that aims to improve the way that we experience art. Users can discover new art, upload their work, and connect with other artists. This project was built by Yunsheng Ho.
