This week we’ve seen a number of creative and elaborate projects on Career Karma, ranging from a random restaurant generator to a social media app where you can share your favorite places in Paris.

This Week’s Top Projects
Restaurant Roulette makes deciding where to eat easier. This application uses the Yelp API to randomly generate a restaurant where you and your friends can go. Restaurant Roulette was built by Ryan Tran, a student at App Academy.
#2: MSC Worm
MSC Worm is a worm that searches through a network and conducts an SSH dictionary attack. When the worm accesses a system, it bypasses sudo privileges and executes a malicious payload. This project was built by Christopher Koons, a student at Fullstack Academy.
#3: Drawy
Drawy is a drawing application built using JavaScript and HTML. Users can draw a picture and a Google API will try to predict what the drawing is meant to be. This project was built by Anush Saroyan.
Paris Passe Partout is a social media application for Paris lovers. Users can share their favorite places in the city and discover new places to visit. This project was built by Sarah Landolt, a student at Nashville Software School.
#5: Hood Crawler
Hood Crawler helps people find good neighborhoods to visit. Users can learn more about the safety of a neighborhood and find security hotline numbers and popular local businesses. This project was created by Wilbrone Okoth, a student at Moringa School.
#6: WowBikes
WowBikes is an ecommerce store for bike lovers. On the website, users can find upgrades for their bike and seek repairs. This project was built by Nmeri Nnadi.
#7: Weather App
Weather App lets you check the weather in your current location. This project was built with design in mind. The background color of the application changes according to the current weather. This project was built by Bertil Tandayamo, a student at Microverse.
#8: My Ecommerce
My Ecommerce is an ecommerce site where you can browse for new technology. Users can view products, add items to their cart, and buy items. This project was built by Santiago Sequeira, a student at Digital House.
#9: Crux
Crux helps rock climbers find safe places to climb. Users can zoom into an area to find climbs and filter climbs by grade or location. This project was built by Bryan Sillorequez, a student at App Academy.
#10: Calcy
Calcy is a multi-functional mobile application for mortgages. On Calcy, users can estimate their monthly payments and manage their mortgages. This project was created by Nmeri Nnadi.
