Each week, the Career Karma Projects team writes a Spotlight article featuring the best bootcamp and coding projects submitted to Career Karma Projects over the last week.
We’ve seen a number of compelling projects on the platform that we think deserve to be showcased this week, from a note-taking app all the way to an app to track the International Space Station.

This Week’s Top Projects
There were many great new projects that were posted on Career Karma Projects this week. Here are a few of the highlights:
#1: AltoNotes
Dipak Marques created the design for a simple note-taking app called AltoNotes. AltoNotes is designed to be simple, to-the-point, and focused on functionality first.
#2: International Space Station Tracker
Dale Severude launched the International Space Station Tracker, which is a tool that tracks the current position of the ISS on a map. Users can see the position of the ISS, and the current weather conditions below the station on Earth.
#3: NYC Sports
NYC Sports, built by Dmitriy Tyutyunik, is a tool that allows you to find the locations of local NYC sports parks, based on data from the City of New York’s Open Data platform.
Built by Britaney Winston, a student at LaunchCode, The Dismissal App is a way for schools and parents to stay in contact about school transportation.
Calling Mrs Christmas, built by Joke Heyndels, a student at Code Institute, is an e-commerce website for a company that helps you plan for Christmas this year.
#6: Plot a Pi
Alan Hermanns launched Plot a Pi, an interactive, multi-user data visualization app that celebrates the universal constant pi.
#7: Digital Commemoration Scrapbook
Aleza Leinwand, a student at Flatiron School, designed Digital Commemoration Scrapbook, a platform that helps commemorate the loss of a loved one.
#8: Oja Express
Oja Express is an e-commerce website for a grocery shop offering same-day delivery of various cuisines from around the world.
Massage Clinic Website is a functional website for a massage clinic, designed by Michael Young, a student at LaunchCode.
#10: TeslaOS with Carplay
TeslaOS with Carplay was Mo AbuShahba’s capstone project at Product School. AbuShahba designed a product feature to take Tesla’s infotainment system to the next level.
