Research Skills
Dietitians must stay up to date on the latest in food and nutrition science. With each client, you need to research what they can do to improve their overall health. This can take an extensive amount of time, especially if people have a particular diet or struggle with certain foods.
Empathy and Understanding
An RD’s goal is to help people make better health and nutrition decisions. This means listening to people and having an open mind about their health choices.
